Basic Information
Introduction
Free Church Atlanta is a Presbyterian church, with its roots in the Scottish Reformation. The Presbytery to which we belong has launched an effort to establish new congregations in strategic locations throughout North America.
Our church bears witness to the gospel of God's sovereign love, and follows the simple and reverent pattern of worship which the Reformation recovered from the Bible, with each element of the service authorized in the Word of God. We confess the infallibility and inerrancy of Scripture, and our officers subscribe to the whole doctrine of the Westminster Confession of Faith, as a confession of their own faith.
Rev. Warren E. Gardner was born in 1946, and educated at Geneva College, Westminster Theological Seminary, Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, and Columbia Theological Seminary. He was ordained to the gospel ministry in 1972, and has served Presbyterian churches in North Georgia for thirty years. Today he is laboring as a minister of the Free Church of Scotland (Continuing), whose North American presbytery has created a mission in the northeast suburbs of Atlanta. Rev. Gardner is married and has five children.
Rev. Gardner is the Moderator Designate for the 2013 General Assembly of the Free Church of Scotland (Continuing).
