Basic Information
Introduction
Family Covenant Christian Church is a church with a passion for our Lord Jesus Christ. We are a church that promotes strong family values through teaching practical biblical wisdom. We promote love among our church family. As a body, we not only believe in the Word of God but also fulfill the Word of God. Jesus said in Matthew 25:37-40, that those who are doing His will are the ones who feed the hungry, give drink to the thirsty, help the sick, the poor, and visit those in prison. We are a body that believes that we are to be doers of the Word and not hearers only. We have strong outreach programs that are making an impact in the city as well as in the local prison.
This is a church where the Word of God is promoted in the individuals lives of our believers. The Word of God is the foundation for our lives and for our morality. We trust the Bible as the inspired Word of God that has all the answers to life’s questions. The deep is calling to the deep! God is calling His children to a closer walk with Him. Many individuals have been disappointed by churches in the past and have perhaps wondered if there are truly people who love and serve God. We are a church that personifies Christ’s love and teachings. I want to encourage you to come and be planted in the house of the Lord. The writer of Hebrews charges believers not to forsake our assembling together and continues on to say, “…and so much more as you see the Day approaching.” Heb. 10:25.
The days that we live in are growing darker with wickedness increasing in both the world and many of our churches. Things that were wrong before are somehow considered right today. Many have believed the same lie that Satan pontificated in the Garden of Eden. “You shall be like God knowing good and evil.” Many erroneously believe that we are the ones that can determine what is right and what is wrong. We, as a nation, base morality on a feeling as opposed to the Word of God. We are warned, “be not deceived,” many times in the Bible; however, it appears that there are many people that are. The greatest mission field in the world today is in the pews of our churches. Now is the time to turn our hearts back fully to God Almighty! Now is the time for repentance! Now is the time for revival!
