Introduction Romy's short Biography: He graduated from FBBI, First Baptist Bible Institute in Project 6, Quezon City. He was called by First Baptist Church of Binan, Laguna while still a student in FBBI. After his graduation, he resumed full time pastor and continue his study taking Master's Degree in Theology at Eberts Residence. During those days of going to the Eberts every Saturday he used to go at Cubao Reformed Baptist Church in Quezon City with his disciple Rod de Guzman borrowing 5-books of Puritans and Reformed books published by Banner of Truth with 5-audio cassette tapes in two weeks time. The audio tapes are mostly the preaching of Al Martin of Trinity Baptist Church of New Jersey especially the series of Sermon called “Here we Standâ€�. While Romy and Rod became aware of Biblical Truths from those books they borrow at CRBC, the teaching, preaching and especially the Bible Study in nearby town of Binan, which is Caingin, Sta. Rosa, Laguna, the young people became 'settled and grounded' from the truth. In those days, the preaching in the Church of Binan, FBC-Binan, became solid until, Romy and Rod were 'kicked-out' with several accusations of wrong teachings and doctrines. He is also a graduate of London Theological Seminary (the school which Martyn Lloyd-Jones founded) but chose to serve in a humble place of Ilocos Norte for many years. He experienced being invited to speak and gave Sermon on Charles Spurgeon's Church in Metropolitan Tabernacle when he was in London. He has a very supportive wife, a son who is graduating high school this month, and an adopted son. He makes his living thru selling fruits and vegetables from his farm to nearby markets. Pastor Romeo Valdez is pastoring a small Church in Ilocos Norte. He currently has 2 active outreach ministries that he goes to every week. Travels at least 5-6 hours by motorbike to preach the gospel at the community of Apayao during Fridays for 6yrs. Also ministers to a small neighborhood 3-hours from where they live.
