Introduction OUR purpose at BridgeWay is to "bridge" the divide in the local church between tradition and modernity. Our Mission (by which we operate) and Vision (for which we strive), together with our core principles (on which we stand) are borne from the evangelical mandate taught in Acts 2:42. SCRIPTURE-FOCUSED Our standard bearer is sacred Scripture: We study its theology and history, uphold its eternal truths, and apply its instructions, exhortations, and precepts. We place a high premium on the expository preaching of God's Word and endeavor to exposit all 27 books of the New Testament in twenty years. GOD-CENTERED Our primary focus is the adoration of God: We praise His splendor, exalt His name, worship His majesty, and bask in His presence through song, study, and submission. We believe the purpose of the church gathering, first and foremost, is to honor God for who He is and what He has done. BELIEVER-ORIENTED Our intended audience is Christ-followers: We teach, preach, admonish, encourage, discipline, care for, disciple, and support our fellow saints in the covenant community of Jesus Christ.
