The Bible alone is the Word of God. 2. The Westminster Confession of Faith is the best summary of the Bible 3. Justification by faith alone. Faith is defined as assent to the truth with the mind. 4. The purpose of the church is education in the truth by a plurality of elders elected by the consent of the congregation. 5. The Bible does not teach the distinction of "ruling" and "teaching" elder nor hierarchy of prelates which is the natural consequence of such distinction.
