A Needful Prayer
I love how Paul describes this image in Ephesians 1. He opens his letter by saying we've been, "Blessed with every supernatural blessing, having been chosen and predestined, before time ever began, to sit, in due time, as the kingdom sought and blood-bought children of the King, at our heavenly Father's table, both now and forever. Glory, hallelujah!
Think about these words — that describe the life of those who are His and His workmanship — who
HAVE BEEN and WILL BE redeemed through the finished work of God's redeeming grace in Christ Jesus. Glory...
Blessed • chosen • holy • blameless • rooted in love • predestinated • adopted • the pleasure of His will • the riches of His grace • His good pleasure • accepted • redeemed • forgiven • made known the mystery • obtained an inheritance • the purpose of Him • the praise of His glory • the gospel of your salvation • sealed • guarantee • purchased possession • faith in the Lord • love for all the saints • His body • hope of His calling • mighty power • seated in heavenly places • the fullness of Him that filleth all in all. YES... the Father selected and sent, the Son suffered and saved, and the Spirit seeks and seals... all His adopted children. Glory... that will bless your socks off if you know Him!!!!
WOW... these are such BEAUTIFUL thoughts and words of truth, all found in Ephesians chapter one, that God has graciously given His children to rejoice over, rest in, and be constantly refreshed by.
Praying for the Saints
