Welcome to Kristuskirken

Vi er en gruppe kristne i og omkring Viborg, der er sluttet sammen i pagt for at tilbede og tjene Herren som en lokal menighed. Vi er en evangelisk kirke, som elsker evangeliet om Guds nåde i Jesus Kristus. Vi er også en reformert baptistkirke, hvilket betyder at vi tilslutter sig 1689 bekendelsen som et trofast udtryk for bibelens lære.

Nogle kendetegn:
- Vi prædiker evangeliets frie invitation til enhver synder.
- Vi holder fast ved nådes-doktrinerne (ofte opsummeret i "Calvinismens fem punkter")
- Vi prøver at tilbede Gud på en ærbødig måde og i overensstemmelse med Bibelens forordninger.
- Vi søger at hengive hele vore liv til Gud og tror, at enhver troende bør arbejde for Herren.
- Vi søger at være indviet til Herren og adskilt fra falsk lære og fra verdslighed.
- Vi tror, at bøn er utrolig vigtigt for os som menighed, og at Gud svarer vore bønner.

English version:
We are a group of Christians in and around Viborg, who have covenanted together to serve the Lord as a local congregation. We are an evangelical church, who loves the gospel of God's grace in Christ Jesus. We are also a reformed baptist Church, which means that we subscribe to the 1689 Confession of Faith as a faithful statement of the Bible's teachings.

Some distinctives:
- We preach the free offer of the gospel to every sinner.
- We teach the doctrines of grace (often summarized in the “five points of Calvinism”).
- We try to worship God in a reverent way and according to what the Bible commands.
- We aim to devote our whole lives to God and believe that every believer should work for the Lord.
- We aim to be consecrated to the Lord and separate from false teaching and from worldliness.
- We believe that prayer is very important for us as a church and that God answers our prayers.
