“ Preach it Paul! ” This is a great message and a great series. The truth is so often stiffled in modern day preaching, but this brother preaches in Spirit and in truth.
I spent several years of my life deluded by a false conversion, having been a victim of the 1,2,3, repeat after me mind set. The power of God unto salvation is not wrapped up in some clever little abc plan, it is in the Gospel of Jesus Christ,Romans 1:16 It is not an act of man, it is the grace of God!! How can men be so widely decieved? It's because they're LOST! If only this people would begin to know the nature of the God of the Bible, they'd come to see themselves as exceedingly sinful, wretched and helpless. Then perhaps they'd realize the FACT that they are not able to do one thing to recomend themselves to God. Not until a person realizes their utter depravity are they prepared to RECEIVE the FREE GIFT of salvation. Ephesians 2:8-9 For by GRACE are ye saved through faith; and that NOT OF YOURSELVES: it is the GIFT OF GOD: 9 NOT OF WORKS, lest any man should boast.
Why? Ephesians 2:7 That in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. It's not about you, it's all about HIM, do you hear me?? Oh, that our religious institutions would wake up!Hello?
