How Refreshing! I so appreciate the balanced scriptural viewpoint expressed with passion. If Christ has freed us, why do we remake ourselves as slaves, subjecting ourselves and our families to the pharisaical laws of men? The Apostle Paul says that when we try to justify ourselves by law, we are alienated from Christ, and have fallen away from grace. (Gal. 5:4) He strongly cautions us against letting ourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery, and bids us be vigilant about avoiding heartless, brainless legalism. This sermon preaches release for the captives!

Great Sermon! Thank you so much for standing up to the excesses of the modern patriarchy movement. You're "right on" in attributing much of the movement's appeal to laziness, and the desire to have someone tell us what to do, instead of seeking the Scriptures ourselves.
