John the Baptist was the herald who would point his
hearers to the long-expected Messiah.

In this message, we consider the man known
throughout the centuries as John the Baptist.  We do
this according to this outline:

I.     His Coming was as the Messiah's Forerunner
II.     His Lineage was Levitical and was Rooted in
True Religion
III.     His Life and Ministry were in Service To
God
IV.     His Death was Seemingly Untimely and
Senseless
