I. Sin and Leprosy
A. Leprosy (Is. 1:6)
From the sole of the foot even to the head, there is
no soundness in it, but bruises and sores and raw
wounds; they are not pressed out or bound up or
softened with oil.
B. Sin (Is. 1:4-5)
II. Salvation and Healing
The leprous person who has the disease shall wear
torn clothes and let the hair of his head hang loose,
and he shall cover his upper lip and cry out,
‘Unclean, unclean.' He shall remain unclean as long
as he has the disease. He is unclean. He shall live
alone. His dwelling shall be outside the camp. (Lev.
13:45-46; cf. 22:5-6)
• He did not violate the Law
• He did not become unclean (Heb. 7:11ff)
• His power is not impersonal
