Apparently, 62 women trainees have been identified as victims of assault or other improper conduct at the hands of 32 training instructors at Lackland Air Force Base. So‚Ä¶what happened to chivalry? This brings up an even more important question. With the lack of male chivalry and the rise in violence against women, should we teach our daughters how to defend themselves? Should they know how to pound nails through the heads of enemy captains?
Great Sermon! I could never excuse or condone assault, rape, and so on, obviously, but should women really expect men to behave chivalrously if we females don't act like ladies? The softness, gentleness, tenderness, and nurturing spirit inherent within femininity has been replaced with aggressiveness, competitiveness, loudness, profaneness, etc. I believe females improve our chances of being treated like ladies when we act like ladies, particularly in the Biblical sense.
