One of the cliches often used about life is that it‚Äôs a roller coaster. Ups and downs. Twists and turns. It settles down for a second just before it throws you for a loop. It can leave us dizzied and disoriented.
Welcome to Acts 14:8-23. Paul and Barnabas experience quite the ride as they preach the gospel in Lystra. We can learn from their example, though, as we look at how they stay focused on their mission, refusing to be thrown off-course by prosperity and pain.
