Recently he published his first book with Crossway books, entitled the Discipline of Spiritual Discernment. Tim has a passion for reading and also runs Discerning Reader, a very helpful website with catalogued thoughtful reviews of thousands of books of interest to evangelicals. Tim is married to Aileen, and they have three children. He is also a member of Grace Fellowship Church. The topic of this month's paper is one that is close to Tim's heart. His goal will be to admonish pastors to be intentional in training their people to think through life issues and things that they read with a biblical and spiritual discernment. This is one of the ways that the faithful undershepherd will seek to protect the sheep entrusted to his care.
