Editors provide an incredible service to authors. Proofreading, honing for specific audience impact, rewording and repackaging certain portions of an author's material is often needed for maximum impact. Most published authors will confess that their final product was made better by the investment of editors.
God has never needed nor hired one for His Book.
Ministry is something to which every Christian is called. Some ministers in the Kingdom are called to teach God's book. All are called to believe God's book. Scripture itself is very clear that there are consequences for morphing what God has written in His word. This message reminds us all of this and uses Paul's words and example in 2 Cor. 4:1-6 to highlight that we must keep our fingerprints off of God 's Word and ways.
