"I tell you this ..." These words summarize the entire chapter. The "I" is the Lord; the "you" is you all; the "this" is the gospel; and the "tell" is the powerpoint. I'm telling you this! Your corrupt flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God. Something has to happen to it. As the life in your soul is fully sanctified at the death of your body, so the body is raised incorruptible and immortal when the final trumpet sounds. Thus the glory of the resurrection and the subsequent inheritance.
