This sermon explores the reason for Jesus' vehement cries and tears; why He needed angels to revive Him in the Garden and why the intensity of the situation caused His sweat to become like drops of blood. We learn that such anguish was not due to the physical suffering that was about to come upon Him, but due to Him being subjected to the second death in order to fully satisfy the justice of God on behalf of His people.
