This sermon examines why Christians voted for Romney for president. Romans 13 makes it clear that the civil magistrate is to mirror the justice and law of God in the earth. They are to reward those who do good, and punish those who do evil. When the magistrate makes or advocates law which contravenes the law of God, the Christian has the duty to resist and oppose such law. But instead, Christians by the millions went out and actually vote FOR two men who openly impugn the law and word of God, rather than stand true to Christ and resist them. This sermon examines the impact that Pietism and the desire for peace and affluence played upon Christians willingness to vote for Romney. The sermon concludes that the standard should be that Christians should not vote for a candidate who openly impugns the law or word of God.
Great Sermon! I sure wish I could find a non 501(c)3 around here...

Great Vindicating Sermon! I voted Constitution Party and was castigated by Christians who I thought were my friends. I was even told by one that "I deserve 4 more years of Obama." I refused to vote for both heathens and I was even unfriended on Facebook by one Christian friend. The normal complaint was that if you vote third party, then it is a vote for Obama. No it isn't, it was a vote for a Christian man who reflected biblical principles. I wonder if those who castigated me for voting Constitution Party run their lives in the same manner they vote. Christians refuse to do any investigation and studies on their own. The term "sheeple" belong to many Christians because of their apathy. Thank you for this great sermon because it vindicates those of us who did not follow Fox news or those who "think" they are Christian leaders like John MacArthur. To those Christians who vote for the lesser of two evils WAKE UP! Where do we read in Scripture that we are to pray that God places a Christ hating heathen to rule over us? There needs to be a mass repentance on the part of all Christians who voted for Romney or Obama. Maybe God is judging this nation because of the apathy of His children and that is why we have an evil leader.

Great Sermon! Thanks for presenting the Biblical response to the shameful 2012 Elections and candidates. This message is full of truth and one Christians need to hear.
