In regards to the church; as Martin Luther had to stand up and proclaim the truth despite the reactions of the church of the time, so we must stand up for the truth of God's word that is so often becoming watered down and improperly delivered in the modern American church.
In regards to personal application; it is a true struggle to stay humble before God and rely fully on His righteousness. It takes just a matter of seconds to change from the tax collector to the Pharisee and not even notice.
