In these verses the Christian's hope is likened to a glorious, unfailing inheritance. The central feature of this inheritance is to be "made perfectly blessed in the full enjoyment of God forever" (WSC, Q. 38) first in regrad to the soul at death, then in soul and body at the resucrrection. The beatific vision of all three persons of the godhead makes other aspects of this inheritance pale in comparison.
