Jonathan Edwards claimed that this sermon on Romans 3:19 bore the most fruit in hopeful conversions during the Great Awakening than all others. The words are very sobering: “In the improvement of this doctrine, I would chiefly direct myself to sinners who are afraid of damnation, in a use of conviction. This may be matter of conviction to you, that it would be just and righteous with God eternally to reject and destroy you. You are afraid that it will be your portion to suffer eternal burnings; and your fears are not without grounds; you have reason to tremble every moment.”
Great Sermon! This sermon will make you tremble. It shows man's vile nature by contrasting it to God's true righteous and infinitely holy essence and character.

Quite the Narration There were a number of mp3 narrations of Edwards done for www.ccel.org, but NOTHING like this.
I read a comment once on another web site that T.S. was turned away from doing narrations for CCEL because the web master thought that he was TOO passionate!?
