After listening the message, I think it is impossible not to be interested in Spurgeon. web watch (7/1/2004) “ Edifying Speech! ” This is edifying, instructive speech like to promote faith and courage in the hearer. This is wonderful information that is wonderfully told. Great information on the background and enduring contributions of C H Spurgeon to the church. It includes stories of incidents that I'd not heard previously. Some might ask, "Why study Church History?". Answers include: “For enquire, I pray thee, of the former age..."
