This is the testimony of a Methodist that grew up knowing nothing about the Bible or Christ, getting caught up in the Jehovah's Witnesses system, being under heavy spiritual demonic afflictions and then gloriously being saved out of the Jehovah's Witnesses system by reading John 1:1 and by many other acts of divine providence. The background for this testimony is the story of the Prodigal son and how my testimony mirrors this parable in Luke 15:11-32.

“ Great mercy of God. ” This message really blessed my soul. The working of God in your salvation brought a fresh air in my life. Especially I was moved by the story about the web site. It was a great encouragement for me. We also have here a little web site with Christian messages, and what happened with you showed me how can God use this work. “ Great Sermon! ” There are many Jehovah's Witnesses making their rounds in all neighborhoods here in Japan. Pray that God will save them and turn them to light. We need God's Spirit to break through to them. It is a spiritual battle, and Japanese are so kind to us Americans. Pray for this country, so kind, yet so lost whether involved in the Watchtower, the Buddhist cults, the money, or the ancestors, etc. Pray that revival will come, as there is hope for this nation.

“ Great Sermon! ” Cont..
My wife had a bible from her 'christening' unopened and lying dusty in a drawer. This I began to read and God began to speak. I was under conviction of sin but had no idea of the true person and work of the Saviour, no relief from that burden, and now a real fear of a real hell. God in His mercy brought me to John 1.1-14 and John 20: 28, but the scripture that the Holy Spirit used to convince me was I Timothy 3: 16 GOD WAS MANIFEST IN THE FLESH the true rendering from that blessed Authorised version which God had mercifully provided. After several months under conviction of sin I came to a full assurance of faith October 7th 1990. The day was a Sunday and I sought a local 'christian' church..the nearest was a methodist church. The first hymn was 'Blessed assurance Jesus is mine' and the hot tears ran down my face onto the hymn book...O' the peace of God trough Jesus Christ alone. That hymn was the only truth I ever heard in that liberal church and by the grace of God I was to quickly grow in grace and separate from apostasy. The God who drew me sovereignly to Him opened my eyes to the doctrines of grace (called calvinism). There is no sinner too hard to reach..even the CHIEF (I timothy 1: 15) and thank God that Christ died for me.

“ Great Sermon! ” I was thankful to hear this sermon having been saved by God's Sovereign grace almost 16 years ago to this day. Praise HIM!
As an unconverted ungodly 17 year old after attending my grandfarther's funeral I was overwhelmed by the thought that he had gone to hell. In tears I began to 'pray' and beg God that he was safe...just then the door bell rang...the J.w.'s with a very providential book which I took upstairs to read stating there was 'no' hell! This brought me into the path of greater deception and satan's snare led me into the occult and spiritism. My deceived conviction until I was 29 years old when through a variety of 'circumstances' I began searching for 'truth'...'What is TRUTH?' I began to pray and seek God yet ignorant of the bible not even possessing one. 'Coincedently' the J.w's came to the door again and convinced me to begin studying with them...what a providence recallling their previous call...surely these had the truth? I was offered a NWT watchtower 'bible' but for some reason declined. The JW elder asked if I believed in the TRINITY..."what was that?" I asked. For the first time in my 29 years I was hearing about a triune God...this amazed me. I went home and told my wife about the offer of a 'bible'. She told me she had a bible!! CONTINUED
