A.Do not think it is strange
1.Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial 
2.when it comes upon you to test you (1:6-7)
3.as though something strange were happening to you.

B.But rejoice
1.Suffering causes Christians to rejoice (Acts 5:41;
16:25; Rom. 5:3; Col. 1:24; Heb. 10:24)
2.Suffering should cause us to rejoice
