In times of depression we loose sight of every hope, every blessing we had or we will have from God, we can feels only the pain of the knife in the wound and our only wish is to escape from it, maybe in death. There are moments of utter powerlessness, we are down physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually. Only a sight of God can bring us out of this condition.
