The first time this came to my attention I had found missing scripture in my NCV (new century version) and may be the 18th verse missing.Luke 9:55-56 NCV reads: 55 But Jesus turned and scolded them. 56 Then they went into another town. They completely leave out the most important point that "the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives but to save them." Why would they put that in a footnote? I see now how these new versions dull the sword of the spirit and make Hebrews 4:12 null and void. How can we have a sharp sword if it is incomplete? Well done!!
