It was the 1920s in Germany. Homosexuality was on the rise. Immorality and decadence defined Berlin. The church was reduced to liberalism and pietism. The country was torn by economic stress. The time was right for Adolf Hitler, the great 'savior' of the people. Does any of this sound familiar? Kevin Swanson interviews Erwin Lutzer, author of a new book entitled 'When a Nation Forgets God.'
There are some differences between Nazi Germany in 1932 and America in 2012. There are still a few churches here that preach the full-orbed implications of God's Word to culture and politics. And there are parents who still are willing to fight for their God-given responsibilities to oversee their children's education!
@Lady Day Remember the socalled 'modern' invention America brought to the world -fast food, tv, cinema, rockn'roll, movies, entertainment, be rich and famous(or at least do so and get the new this and that via credits),and last the incredible proudness, which all together formed the new worlds. It destroyed families, values, ethic and religion.

Great Sermon! The 1920s werent moral here either, or not as bad.I've always thought the late 60s were where the 1920s left off,the depression in the 1930s america slowed down the moral decay since Hollywood created the HAYES CODE.(dont forget, in this country, SEX DRUGS, and Rock 'n' Roll came BEFORE the 'GAY' party) BUT AMERICA has TWO PARTIES. it's up to the 'GOP'since THEY DIDNT BOO GOD 3 TIMES as long as they dont go wholesale into MORMONISM. Dont forget, GOD is on his THRONE; as you speak 9/10-9/11, the teachers there there are on STRIKE for a reason;no homosexual indoctrination?
