The false sense of spiritual security held by you and all the other folks being deceived by charismatic heresy will eventually fall like a house of cards. Don't listen to me...take heed of the Savior's words in Matt. 7:24-27..."Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it." Can you not see that He is speaking of YOU?? Build your house on the solid foundation of His WORDS, not on an emotional feeling. That will do you no good when REAL trials come!! A biblically based, scripturally sound foundation of faith is what you and everyone in the world NEEDS.

39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)
John14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
This sermon even pleases my soul, because it gives light to God's Word that they will not enter in and also forbid those who might enter in.

“ Excellent Teaching ” Some of the points raised in messages on the Tongues#1 were more than adequately answered in Tongues#2. I came through all the charismatic route - seeking emotional thrills. More often than not I realised that so much was 'put on'. Eventually I was so disquieted by the obvious glaring differences between the scriptures and the antics of some of these churches, that I sought to read the Bible myself. Returning to the AV1611 from modern interpretations was the first step on the path where the Lord put my feet back on the solid rock. I had pretty much draw the smae conclusions on all these issues but Rev Greer certainly adds greater input vis-a-vis the issue of tongues being a judgement to Israel.
I have no idea what tongues I spoke when I spoke them - but a lot of it was very repetitive and no-one could interpret them. On that basis I choose to adhere to the scriptures only for my guidance and on the Holy Spirit to open my understanding to these scriptures. Since that choice the words of Psalm 119 have come fully to fruition. I love the word of God more and more each day, I loves His laws and precepts. 'Thy word is a lamp unto my feet,...'. Oh the joy of this has been greater than any of the uninterpreted tongues that I used to practise. The word itself has been brought to life in my mind and He has enabled me to call upon scriptures verbatim. I have found very few of Charismatic types who can call upon the direct word of God to support their statements but only general references. This alone is proof of the pudding - Christ himself used the direct Word of God to counter Satan's misuse of the scriptures during the temptation in the wilderness.
