“ Resurrection Power to Believe ” Ephesians 1 is such a great section of Scripture. In the message Shawn reference a man, James, who is perhaps a member of his local church. Free-willers and easy believism was also mentioned and I am not in favor of goat-bashing because people believe a lie because God is not in all their thoughts; like you or I was but, it was God who caused me to believe hence, I can not boast or look down on someone who is dead and blind. The power of His resurrection is something for us to live by here but Paul states "if in. this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men the most pitiable" (1 For 15:19) and that our citizenship is in Heaven (Ph 3:20). James states our life is but a vapor (jam 4:4). And we have 2 Cor 5:1. So, His resurrection power is His promise that we shall have the victory in this life, and when our minds are anchored too securely to the things of this world or this life now then, His love for us results in chastisement that produces clear-headedness so that we expectantly look for Him calling us, or His return.
