Distress includes physical pain, mental suffering, and anxiety. It is something that just wears us down with it’s pestering and wounding. Our enemy wants to tear us down in any way possible. The enemy will cause things to happen to us that will steal all our strength; may be even have our friends turn on us. What do you do when distress attacks? First remind yourself of who you are, child of God. Put your faith in God to work, and ask Him for help. Remember His promises. He is faith and will keep His promises. But we must bring our trouble to Him.
