Christians have been given full assurance of the validity of their faith and confidence to come to God by the blood of Jesus.
There is also a warning to those who know the truth but go on deliberately sinning. In doing so, they trample the Son of God, profane the blood of the covenant and outrage the Spirit of grace. "It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God". So once you know the truth, don't shrink back or lose confidence. God is faithful.
