This video (which is actual footage of Justin Peters giving a seminar called, "A Call for Discernment") is a fair, comprehensive, biblical critique of the modern Word of Faith movement. Word of Faith theology (WoF) dominates Christian satellite and cable television and is making alarming inroads into our churches. This seminar contains dozens of audio and video clips (primarily the latter) of various WoF leaders such as Benny Hinn, Kenneth and Gloria Copeland, Jessie Duplantis, Creflo Dollar, etc. incorporated into a PowerPoint format. This format allows people to see and hear for themselves what these individuals are actually teaching. Everything then is, in turn, balanced with Scripture.

Great Sermon! I appreciate your much neglected and much needed apologetic ministry on aberrant WOF teaching, more than words can express. I want to encourage you and bless you for your courage and love of the Body of Christ, in the fact that you confronted heretic Todd Bentley TO HIS FACE. You did what so many in his (charismatic) camp should have done, thanks a thousand and may God bless your ministry richly!

Great Sermon! Thank you for this sermon. Praying all brothers and sisters in the Lord would wake up and test the spirits to see if they are of God (1 John 4:1).

Great Sermon! Thanks for this sermon. It was interesting knowing the links to the metaphysical teachers.
While this is no more important than the gospel itself. It is in fact important to know that we have the right gospel. Of which the gospel of becoming a god, or 'restoration' of health to perfect health and the 'word of faith' movement is a complete distortion of. One minister was told by a woman that God wanted him to give her his house. Another man tried getting $1000 as a gift off me. The line was that God was growing him in the knowledge of his holiness. He could not explain what that was. So he asked me to explain to him the holiness of God.
Suffice to say he still expects God to meet his 'needs' despite his irresponsible spending of the $1000 deposit for a job. His own word of faith pastor would not help him (perhapd he knows the lie of the doctrine he teaches).
This doctrine has destroyed the credibility of Christianity as much, if not more than any sex scandal in the church.
It paints the bride of Christ as greedy for filthy lucre rather than looking to the precious appearing of Christ.

For Such a Time As This! There is a war within Christiandom, a spiritual war against the purity and truth of the Word of God. The True church will no longer remain silent, and the time has come to confront and expose the false "five-fold" ministries. Thank you, Justin for shining the search light on these wolves. Let us all be sober and vigilent in these last days.
The influence of two loving Christian parents coupled with the challenges of Cerebral Palsy led Justin to begin inquiring about salvation at an early age. Shortly after a visit with his then pastor, Dr. John G. McCall, God graciously saved Justin at age seven. God's call on Justin's life...
