Then you need to hear this sermon, which neither attempts to cover-up what we are by nature, nor gives any occasion to the flesh. The whitewash of the Legalist and the excuses of the Lawless will find no comfort here, thank God! But they who truly love the Lord will find blessed assurance by pointing them, not to themselves, but to their Lord (obedience) and Savior (perfect substitute) Jesus Christ!
