This is a little bit different message than you're accustomed to hearing from me. It's all straight from Scripture, that will never change, but the manner of what we're going to talk about today is different in that we're really going to follow a narrative through a portion of Scripture rather than trying to exposit one or two verses. If you've been here at all, you know that I can go seventy minutes on two or three verses and so if I told you that I was about to go for 23 verses here today, you would probably panic. Let me assure you that that's not necessary.
Today, what we're going to do, we're really starting something new and I want you to know that today is a pivotal day in the life of our fellowship. We are rounding a corner and we're moving into an important series for the life of our fellowship. Next week, I’m going to start a series on the book of Titus. Paul speaks to Titus and tells him to go in and to establish churches in the island of Crete and gives him instructions on how to do that, it's how to give birth to a church, really, in many ways and that's kind of what we've been doing for the past year and a half and as we move into Titus, we're moving into some really important foundational things that the next several decades of this church are going to be built on and so it's very, very important what we are about to do over the course of the summer.
