I mentioned in one of our earlier studies in Acts the excellent book written by John Mauck, an attorney in Chicago. Mauck focuses on how Acts could be connected to a defense of Paul as he stood trial in Rome. The conversion of Paul as Luke has carefully written would show the following: 1. The God of Israel is in charge. 2. Paul is His servant, under orders. 3. God’s plan is good and true, but suffering may be part of the package. Never doubt God's sovereign and saving power.
1. Verses 1-9 - Paul is blinded by the glory of Christ 2. Verses 10-16 - Ananias is instructed to meet Paul 3. Verses 17-19 - Paul receives his sight and is baptized
