The struggle over water rights in Isaac's time led the Philistines to battle Isaac's family over wells previously dug and used by Isaac's father. He called it Rehoboth, and rejoiced in the realization that God had led them to the place and that God would bless them in that place. They came to learn that even through struggles, the Lord perfects His people and brings them to a place of peace.
