Ability means power and capacity. Here we see Barnabas resolved with himself to restore someone who had fallen to the side. It is one thing to want to do something but how determined are we to see it happen? Barnabas was determined to help himself because he wanted to help others, to encourage others. Paul judged it was a mistake to take Mark again and disputing arose as it might for us as well between the brethren. If the Lord has laid it on your heart then do it. We may never know the difference it can make. How determined are you?
