As we approach the Lord’s Table this morning I want to remind you that all of your salvation from sin, and all of your being able to inherit eternal life, rests squarely upon Jesus’ having fully done the will of God, on your behalf. This Supper which is before us is a remembrance feast; a feast which we will celebrate in a few minutes. You may have brought food with you to eat today at our shared meal which will satisfy the body. But I, dear Christian, would have you to partake with me now of spiritual realities which have been purchased for you by your Savior. I would like us to look together 1st, at Jesus’ love of spiritual food. And 2nd – Jesus’ love of labors in the spiritual harvest. And 3rd, as we gather down front – Your love of spiritual food, as well.
