“ Great Sermon! ” When my church was seeking a new pastor they wanted to call a man who used the NKJV. I stand firmly on the King James Bible, but I knew I had to have a firm argument so I began researching the new versions. I found a website defending the King James Bible. Here are some of the Scriptures used. Proverbs 16:10 "A divine sentence is the lips of the king: his mouth trangresseth not in judgment." Another is Ecclesiastes 8:4; "Where the word of a king is, there is power: and who may say unto him, What doest thou?" The article goes on to say that James is not an English word but a Hebrew word, and that in Hebrew it is Jacob. Psalms 147:19 says, "He showeth his word unto Jacob." The Bible does not leave us in the dark when it comes to who God appointed to translate His Word. Do we have the inspired Words of God in our precious King James Bible. WE DO! Amen, and AMEN!

“ Wonderful Sermon!! This needs to be heard!! ” An excellent informative sermon about why the King James Bible is superior to all the other versions and perversions available today. So many churches over here have thrown out the KJB and replaced it with the NIV or the NKJV, even so-called fundamentalist churches. I'm so thankful that through Sermonaudio I can listen to sound biblical preaching by faithful men such as Pastor Waite, and many others. This site is truly a blessing.

“ Great Sermon! ” Tenderly on target! Brother Waite; much in the character of our Lord Jesus Christ has cut to the chase while unsheathing the "sword of the spirit."
Many a debate has been promted between many groups - all profesing to be Christ's redeemed. But, like Brother Waite noted; God has been seperating since the beginning of time. He "separated the light from the darkness, Caine & Able, Sin & Righteousness, Blessings & Cursings, and so on..."
One thing's for certain. Our Lord has preserved his Word, and He WILL preserve His people as He has promised. Until that time; the battle will continue for true believers to "reprove"(Eph 5:11) the evil deeds of men who are "wolves in sheep's clothing."
The problem is that we become distracted by looking for wolves when we should be looking at the sheep while comparing them always to that "Great Shepherd" which is Christ Jesus, Our Lord who "is the Word" that "never changes."

“ Great Sermon! ” Thank you very much for preaching in defense of the good old "King James Bible" I wrote a poem in defense of this wonderful Book,and it's so great to see others defending it also! Apparently there was a survey taken and the "KJB" came out on top by a wide margin. Whopee

This unique Book inspired by God
And changed it to THEIR liking
Disrespecting God's pure words.
From generation to generation
This Book's been in our homes.
Nowadays its been changed a lot
By intellectual modern man.
I wonder which Bible will it be
God presents on Judgment Day
Will it be a VERSION of mankind?
Or the one He Himself inspired?
The credulous come in every class
From the Clergy all the way down.
We're told plainly in the Bible,
Not to put trust in ANY man!
I'll stick to the 1611 King James Bible
In my opinion the one that lasts!
It's unique, inspired, approved by God.
Thus we know it withstood every test.
