I began our study on God’s Goodness by showing you that God is essentially good in His Essence and Being; that all that He does is good. He is the fountain of all goodness, and we should every day consider the fact that He studies all of His creatures and especially His highest creation Man, whom He created in His own image and likeness, to do them good. How does God do good to all men? In a providential way He order all things to bless them with common grace in giving them food and satisfying their hearts with many good earthly things. And He shows Special and Saving grace to His elect people, choosing to savingly reveal Himself to them. He reveals to them the glory of the Father, the Son , and the Holy Spirit, the glory of Christ’s Person, and what He has done for sinners to procure for them the blessings of eternal life.
