This sermon focuses upon the significance of God's revelation brought to us through His apostles and prophets. It challenges us, by the simplicity of Paul's apostolic claim, to accept every word in Scripture with unquestioning acceptance. God doesn't need to explain His truth to our satisfaction before it can be regarded as true. Rather, every word of God's revelation is the ultimate standard and definition for truth, justice and possibility. As Paul's statement that he is an apostle ends all debate about whether he is an apostle, so too, God's revelation about anything is the final word on that matter whether our minds agree or not. Our responsibility is to bring all our thinking about everything into line with God's revelation, not because our minds are comfortable with it but because it is God's revelation and therefore is the truth on that matter.
