Christians in the pew are being seduced by their pastors and high-profile Christian leaders into supporting a movie which is nothing less than a giant ecumenical coup by the devil and his handmaiden, the Vatican. There is no excuse for those leaders. They have seen "The Passion of the Christ" in special previews, yet they continue to promote Mel Gibson's Romish perversion of the gospel.
Great Sermon! I attend two congregations one of the leaders inferred that those who did not go and see the movie did not love Jesus. Being a student of Biblical languages I would be interested in hearing how close aramaic is to hebrew but have absolutly no interest to " crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh". I have not seen in either congregation an increase in believers coming to faith as a result of the movie. Constantinian (RCC and Eastern Orthodox) religion efforts always plant pagan seeds...a point that seems to escape some.

Unscriptural Film Hello
First of all, I don't need to see the film .... I'm reading the book :-)
The film changes the Word of God into a lie. Churches in the UK purchased THOUSANDS of cinema tickets, in order to attract people to Christianity. How can they base their efforts on such an inaccurate film?
Apostacy has reached a new level :-( Mel Gibson is a multi-millionaire Christian ... that's a contradiction in itself!
Bye

Pagan movies I'm thankful for people like Pastor Ovadal who speaks out for right when so many are so wrong. I have not seen the Passion, nor am I going to see it. I've had people tell me that I can't evaluate the film without seeing it. But I don't need to steal a car to know that auto theft is bad. A movie about Jesus written, produced and directed by a pagan worshiper is a bad thing. Same reason I've not seen any of the Rings movies, Tolkien was a devout pagan also. We Christians have to draw the line somewhere! We can't fill our minds with paganism and expect to serve God to the best of our ability.

Great Sermon! I don't see why anyone Christian or otherwise would want to see such a sick & voilent portrayal about how man physically killed G_D. I feel that even Jesus himself would not have liked this movie to be made or shown. Thus the being struck by lightning of the actor while making this film should have been more than a hint for them. We as human beings/the human race should oppose violence in every way, shape & form. It is also very disturbing that they have & are showing this film to children under the age of 17. It should have been given an NC-17 rating but of course the profiteers chose otherwise. Christ is the prince of peace and there is nothing good or peaceful about the Passion. How much of the millions upon millions of dollars of his profit will Gib$0n give to the poor, needy & hungry of this world? Probably not much. Thank you for your sermon & efforts Pastor. In Jesus name...

Ungodly Passion for The Passion It is sometimes difficult to remember why some of us take the particular stances that we take in relation to the Word of God. Especially when we look in the paper and see how many $$$ the
"Passion" has already amassed. I am alarmed, but no shocked at the many well-known leaders in Christianity who are promoting A MOVIE to be as instructional as the The Word of God. These are indeed the last days, and unfortunately, entire local Church bodies (those with itching ears to hear)will be led by false Prophets and misguided Apostles, and given over to reprobate minds. I pray for our nation, and for those who will be saved. Thank you for your most timely message to the body.

Great Sermon! I went to the movie after the urging of leading Christian people. I am a former Roman Catholic. I was very uncomfortable with all the Catholic dogma being promoted. After hearing your message I now understand these feelings. Thank you for your message.

Great Sermon! Thank you Pastor Ovadal for your uncompromising sermon and for your desire to speak forth God's truth! I have friends who think I am foolish to oppose this movie! They say "look at the good that will come of it." May the Lord raise up more Godly, courageous Pastors like you!

Great Sermon! God help us... Apathy is everywhere...and the sheep have No Shepherds......The shepherds are gatekeepers for the one world religion wolf in Rome.....Thanks Pastor Ralph for speaking Truth in a very Dark time.

Concerned I think that this was a great Anti-Catholic message. I agree that the Passion was a Catholic film. But I do not see the film itself as being anti-Christian. Yes, it may present a Catholic view of the last 12 hours and there are many extra-biblical scenes in the movie but that does not make it anti-Christian. All of the criticism of Mel and the others is accurate but that does not detract from the film. As Paul says, even though they preach with wrong motives, Christ is still preached. (Phil 1:15-18) The film itself is the most accurate portrayal of the crucifixion that I have every seen. I gave me a much better understanding of what Jesus had to go through because of MY sins. To me, this is a better message to be preached.

666 tickets Has anyone else noted that the "Passion" movie tickets that were printed with the 666 were from ROME, Georgia?

Great Sermon! Thank you for a great sermon at a time when I have recently met with great opposition from my own pastor who has openly applauded the fact that "people are talking about 'Jesus' more than ever" and says we should use the movie as an evangelistic tool just as Paul did in the Acts 17 Mars Hill encounter. But God forbid that I should promote or have fellowship with those who do promote the movie, a blasphemous work of Roman Catholic antichrists. By disagreeing with my pastor over this issue, he has now asked me to leave the church because "he can no longer be my pastor". In short, I have been "excommunicated", according to a common practice that only a pimp of the whore of Babylon is capable of doing. But God has confirmed that I honor Him by leaving this church to His judgement which will come swiftly. I am also now convinced that this man, a former Roman Catholic, may actually not even be born-again because he really has not left his pagan "roots". So be it! I now shake the dust off my feet and move on in Christ according to Amos 3:3. I am confidant that the triune God will soon lead me to worship where He and His Dear Son are truly honored by the preaching of His Word through the power of the Holy Ghost. Pray for the members who remain under this Diotrephes!

Great Sermon! Amen,
Thank you for the truth Brother in Christ! I testified in church.
I have been admonished by an elder, my bible teacher, my dear teacher cousin, and a former catholic "Born Again" sister for my stance against this sacrelig. It is a travesty!
I say to them, as do you, "Read your bible."
Until all hear,
Howell

Great Sermon! What a blessing to find a Pastor who is willing to speak the truth about this ungodly film! Mel Gibson doesn't need our applause. He needs our prayers. Thank you Pastor Ovadal for your uncompromising sermon and for your desire to speak forth God's truth!
Robyn from Waukesha, WI (2/28/2004)
Great Sermon! AMEN! Great job exposing the unfruitful works of darkness. Keep running the race, Pastor.
Nick from Arkansas (2/27/2004)
Great Sermon! I have seen " The Passion" and there is nothing Romish about it.
Frank Warren from Topeka, KS (2/26/2004)
POWERFUL Sermon! Sermons like this one have convinced me to not go see this movie, and to encourage other Christians to avoid it. At the very least, ONE good thing is going to come out of this movie: Lots of Christians will be educated on the TRUTH about the Roman Church and images of Christ.
Richard Navarro from seattle (2/26/2004)

Andrew Hall from United Kingdom (2/24/2004)
Good solid preaching from scripture! Thank you brother for this timely message.
Roy from Waupun, Wi (2/24/2004)
Great Sermon! I had been thinking that a movie which seems to have so much opposition must be alright. I thank Ralph for exposing the heresy of the think. I will not now go see it, and I will work to expose the heresy to others who think it is a good movie. Even if they do discount what I say, when they go see it they will plainly see the heresy in it. Let God be the judge.
Jim from Hartford, WI (2/23/2004)
Awesome Sermon! Wow, The real discerned look at the movie that is being promoted as the next terminator III movie. Outstanding looking that pulls away the onions layers and looks at the rottem Core beliefs! Just like a Frisby stuck high up in a tree gets no beneift from the tree but looks like a part of the tree, this sermon exposes the roman catholic Roots of the film. Enjoy and listen tomore of these great sermons
