Even though pastor is apparently in the Beatitudes, just like he does today, he is not in the New Testament. He’s discussing free will and Adam and Eve, and the free will decision these first two people – sinless and not contaminated by sin – have to make. Then he goes on to discuss the decisions they have to make… after
We have the ability to make decisions, or choices, with the guidance of the Holy Spirit… but we rarely make good ones. Why is that? I’ll let pastor explain that one.
Pastor is going to ruin your understanding that Adam and Eve were stupid. So if you’re easily offended when your ignorance is questioned, this sermon is not for you. But… if you’re weird like us, you’ll want to study to show yourself approved.
