Tyre is not the black rubber thing around the wheel of your car! It was a great merchant and commercial city. It had power, wealth, and gladness, but God had it conquered by the Babylonians so its pride would be punished. Was this its final end? No. In grace, God brought this pagan people eventually to Himself in Jesus. So He does with nations today. Nations must and will serve King Jesus. There is no neutrality, and no ultimate authority in any nation other than Him -- no party, no ideology, no family, no totalitarian, no "We the People".
