'Christ Jesus came into this world to save sinners, but did He? This morning, around the world, most of Christendom is preaching a different gospel message. They are preaching a message that Jesus came into this world to give sinners the opportunity to be saved. They still call Jesus the Savior and they will stay say that Jesus came into the world to save sinners, but you'll hear that one is not saved until he believes, he invites Jesus into his heart, and says a prayer of salvation. A local Knoxville pastor has said, ''that which is closest to the truth, but is not the truth, is most dangerous!'' No truer words have 'er been spoken. For the two aforementioned gospel messages, while they sound quite similar, are dramatically diabolically different. One puts saving justification in the hands of the Savior & one puts saving justification in the hand of the sinner. One dates the saving transaction at the cross of the Savior and one at the prayer of the sinner. Which do you believe? Has God given you eyes to see a difference?
