“ Great Sermon! ” This sermon was eye opening to my relationship with other believers. I do agree that real forgiveness is remembering what a person did to me but not holding that action against them. If someone wronged me and I forgave them, that doesn't mean if someone asked me about it that I wouldn't be able to recall it. It simply says yeah I remember and I love that person just the same anyhow.

“ Great Sermon! ” As important as church membership is it is not required for salvation and gaining entrance into Heaven. The only requirement there is for salvation and gaining entrance into Heaven is for one to embrace Jesus Christ as ones Savior and Lord.

“ Great Sermon! ” Johnathan, please check to make sure I am not misrepresenting Scripture, but I believe the two passages outside of I Corinthians 13 are addressed to or by God Himself. He is not limited by human nature or flesh, and He absolutely can choose to forget. Are you saying that you do not remember a single time in your life when someone sinned against you? That is an honest question, and I am not trying to stir the pot for the sake of an argument. If so, please share with me the Scriptures that helped that take place. I would be very interested in that. Not keeping track of wrongs is different that actually and fully forgetting something. It's like my enemy saying something unkind, but I do not keep a notebook with hash marks in it so I know exactly how many times he/she has done that specific thing. If we could be perfect on our own, we would not need the indwelling of the Holy Ghost to sanctify us or the blood and resurrection of Christ to save us.
