It is a scary and sad reality that there are church members who reach a place where it is impossible for them to repent. Scary because we won't know we've gotten to that point when we get there, and because of all of the knowledge, experience, and ministry that someone can have and still be unsaved. And it is even sadder than scary, because it shows that such an one doesn't care about Christ. Thankfully, the remedy is the life-giving, fruit-producing Word of Christ. If we would heed the warning, let us open our hearts wide and drink His Word in deep, having it permeate our thoughts, feelings, and choices. And let us make much of Him, His cross, and His glory!
