The Doctrine: God is Just Illustrations of the Doctrine of a God who is Just Applications of the Doctrine of a God who is Just
God is just, totally just, in his nature and his work. This brings joy to the Christian, for your sins are totally covered by Jesus.
Brothers and Sisters in Jesus Christ: 1. Never get tired of praising God for the work of Jesus who took God's justice for you. And when you do get careless or tired in your praise of God (and you will from time to time), remember the cross and remember you should have been on it!
2. Share this message with those who would otherwise have to face the punishing justice of God for themselves. Help them to see that they don't need to take God's justice when God could count the suffering of Christ as theirs.
Finally: While God's justice is a source of joy to Christians as our sins have been forgiven, if you are not a Christian, this must bring total terror for you. But you don't have to face that terror. God can remove that terror and give you joy if you ask him to count Christ's terror on the cross for you! You could then become God's child.
