Reverend Neale R. Riffert has recently retired from the Reformed Church in the United States where he has been pastoring for 40 years. He currently resides in Sherman, TX, with his wife of 50 years, Mary Elizabeth, and their adult Down’s Syndrome son, Neale Jr.

Rev. Riffert was born May 13, 1940, in Norristown, PA. He was raised in the United Presbyterian Church, and attended Temple University from 1958-1960. His theological training was at Reformed Episcopal Seminary, Philadelphia, PA, from 1964-1967. After that, he attended Grace Bible College , Omaha, NE, graduating in 1970. He was ordained by the Bible Presbyterian Church, in December of 1967, in Lincoln NE, where he pastored for three years.
Rev. Riffert entered the Reformed Church in the United States in 1970. Since then, he has served congregations in the Dakotas, Wisconsin , Alabama, and California. In addition to their son, the Rifferts also have four married daughters and 12 grandchildren. Rev. Riffert is currently serving as Pastor of Christ the King Reformed Church, which is a Home Missions church for the RCUS. | more | less
