Dr. Pierce served 7 years as a missionary in Alaska followed by 9 years as a director of Baptist missions. He has done extensive mission work in Russia and Kazakhstan. Both his sons are Baptist pastors who married sisters from Russia. Dr. Pierce continues to travel in mission work and revivals.
